Melinda Ritz Interiors

Melinda Ritz is an award-winning set decorator and residential designer since 1985 and created Melinda Ritz Interiors, Inc. in 1996. Melinda started her 36-year career in film on movies, such as The Abyss and Basic Instinct. She went on to win 3 Emmy Awards and receive 7 nominations for Art Direction on Will & Grace. Melinda has worked to develop and maximize the potential of gorgeous properties for Ellen Degeneres, Ryan Seacrest, Kim and Kanye, and the famous Brody House.

Melinda is from Las Vegas, Nevada, and once lived at the Caesar Palace Hotel. Growing up in Las Vegas served to influence her young passion for drama and elegance, which she later translated to her film and interior design projects. There was a demand from those in the film industry who recognized the detail and artistry in her on-camera sets and who wanted that kind of personalization in their own homes, and so began her interior design company. Melinda strives to not only maximize the value potential of each of her client’s homes, but also successfully creates the layers that tell the story of the people who live there.

Melinda served two terms as a Board Member of the Set Decorators Society of America as well as she is currently an active member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She travels the world to discover the best in art, architecture, and design.
